Relief Veterinarian

Dr. Kate grew up assisting her father, a large animal veterinarian, and since she can remember always wanted to be a vet. After obtaining her DVM degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2011, she completed an equine medicine and surgery internship in south Florida, where she developed a strong interest in emergency medicine, which she carried over to the small animal side shortly following her internship. In 2013 Kate moved to Colorado to swap the beach for the mountains and joined the Downtown Animal Care Center team in 2017. When Kate is not working, she can be found trail running, skiing or fly fishing.
